It was pretty low key Thanksgiving this year. We were all still recovering from being sick. It's tradition for us to do a jigsaw puzzle throughout the day but we overshot with this 1000 piece puzzle. We only got the border and a few small parts done before putting it away at the end of the night.
Hank had surgery the day before Thanksgiving to remove a couple of lumps on his belly. Both turned out to be nothing to worry about. He got his stitches out a few days ago... the vet tech telling him "I love your old man face!"
I can't believe this kid has only been playing the trumpet for 3 months. That first day I wondered what we had gotten ourselves into but he took to it right away. He had his first concert last week and did a fantastic job.
The kids are plant sitting for Grandma while she's in Florida for the winter. I love the shadows they cast on the blinds in Clara's room at night.
It was 65 degrees on the day that we got our Christmas tree. It was so weird to go in just sweatshirts and Eli was wearing flip flops!
I sat on the couch and watched her decorate. They really are growing up.
